Dexamethasone is one of the most commonly used drugs in the regimens of antiemetics prevention. Antiemetics effects of dexamethasone along with its low cost, despite the possible serious side effects, is still widely used in clinical practice.
Until now, the antiemetic mechanisms of action of dexamethasone remained unclear.
This article presents the possible pharmacological mechanisms of antiemetics action dexamethasone and its side effects, which is very important for clinical practice application.
