Although the term consensus, professional adhesion to treatment guidelines is consistently low. So we can improve this situation, validation of terms and rating scales is of fundamental importance. Common diagnostic criteria and a framework for a classification system for cancer cachexia were recently agreed upon by international consensus. The aim of this study is to validate this diagnostic criteria.
