Science and Development: 21st Century Priorities for Childhood Cancer
The mission of the International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP: Société International d’Oncologie Pédiatrique), which is dedicated to increasing knowledge about childhood cancer and ensuring that all children receive optimal treatment and care, is that no child should die of cancer. This year’s annual congress will take place in South Africa and include plenary sessions, guest lectures, committee/group sessions, meet-the-expert sessions as well as free and proffered paper sessions. The sessions cover various topics with regard to paediatric oncology, including a session on supportive care for paediatric patients.
