4th Quality of Life and Cancer Clinical Trials Conference
The aims of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC), which was founded in 1962, are to develop, conduct, coordinate, and stimulate translational and clinical research in Europe to improve the management of cancer and related problems by increasing survival but also patient quality of life. This 2-day conference, which will be for free for all attendees, will be chaired by Dr Andrew Bottomley and Marisa Matias and hosted by the European Parliament in Brussels.
The conference will focus on Quality of Life and Cancer Clinical Trials, with a faculty of over 30 speakers who will deal with all aspects of designing QOL studies, including updates on the tools that are used. Patients will present their view of Quality Of Life across the EU. It will also be an opportunity to meet the developers of EORTC tools and speak to them in person.
