Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference
Discussion and Debates on Current Treatment Options for Men with Advanced Prostate Cancer
In advanced prostate cancer, rapid and successful drug development has resulted in multiple treatment options, requiring careful decision making for individual patients. Clinicians face the increasingly difficult task of choosing from multiple potentially effective treatments that are also costly and potentially toxic. The inaugural Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC) provides a forum for discussion and debates on current treatment options for men with advanced prostate cancer. The conference will conclude with pre-defined consensus questions, targeting areas of primary clinical relevance. The APCCC is open to anyone involved in the care of men with advanced prostate cancer and also to representatives of patient support groups.
