National Acute Pain Management Study Day
This study day will provide an overview and update on current issues in acute cancer pain management. The programme includes: pain assessment, pain physiology in relation to pharmacological action, procedure related acute pain management, cancer treatment related acute pain management, impact of enhanced recovery pathway on acute pain management, peri-operative pain management, acute pain management in the patient with complex/chronic pain, management of paediatric acute pain.
The study day is hosted by the Royal Marsden which opened its doors in 1851 as the world’s first hospital dedicated to cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and education.
